The President, Mike Patton has years of experience in the utility aviation business managing operations all over the world.

The Director of Operations, Robert Thydean, has over 40 years experience in the utility aviation business managing operations all over the world, from fire contracts in the U.S. to oil exploration in Yemen and South America. He has also served as a Program Manager of a Military Sealift Command/Navy VERTREP Program.

The Chief Pilot, Jim Hennessy, is the company’s training, FAR 135 check airman and anti-drug and alcohol manager.

The Director of Maintenance, Tim Shannon, has years of experience in maintaining helicopters and overseeing aircraft overhauls / rebuilds for Eurocopter products. (ISO-9000)

All of our pilots are highly skilled, vertical reference qualified, USFS/OAS carded and are capable of accomplishing your individual task.

All of our mechanics average over 5 years of maintenance experience on Trans Aero operated aircraft. They are all A & P's, USFS carded plus are CDL qualified to drive fuel trucks.
